Print on Demand
The latest trend is that you don't import from China and don't have the products manufactured in advance, but only when ordered, they are manufactured and shipped by a partner company. I myself have tried marketplace-based Print on Demand solutions like RedBubble, and I still sell today using Printify Printful, while I have also used Chinese Print on Demand manufacturers for my own use.
It is also considered Print on Demand if you have a Hungarian company produce it. To get started, all you need is a concept, knowledge of laws and taxation, and of course a target market or a marketplace. I am happy to share my experiences with you on all of this.

Import
Most people still import their goods, mostly from China. I myself have had my own private label product manufactured by a Chinese partner, so I have experience in choosing a company, shipping solutions, and what to look for.
In the field of customs, many people are unaware of anti-dumping fees and the EU legal compliance of given products, which is why consumer protection agencies sometimes contact them during customs clearance and call for remedial action.

Dropshipping
It received quite a lot of hype, but it has not been the most successful sales method since then due to the too low profit margin. However, they have also started to use it on international B2B platforms, since inventory turnover is also important for physical stores, and therefore they order smaller quantities, and in the case of orders for their online shops, they use dropshipping. As logistics technology develops, this segment will also develop.
