The site was built on Shopify CMS system, Dawn free theme . You can see that every millimeter of it is a unique design , we don't even recognize the Dawn theme. We achieved this by custom coding, without buying a paid theme, and ensuring that the theme made by Shopify will receive proper support for new developments of Shopify in the future.

Heni knew what she wanted, she came to me with specific sample pages, from which we took the transparent navigation and the waves, for example. First, a moodboard was made to find the right cherry red color, and the complementary colors, to get a feel for the atmosphere of the page. Then, several structural and design looks were made to find the right direction.

The products have a circular background display, which is quite unique, it does not follow the usual webshops . But it fits very well with marzipan desserts. In the hover state, a second image of the product appears, which is the marzipan dessert cut in half. This makes the product even more desirable, especially in the case of pieces filled with cherries and other things.

Heni's attitude is worth highlighting, as she uploaded the content very professionally and quickly, she also organized a separate photo shoot so that each product would have a uniform appearance, and she created all the initial content lightning fast, while not forgetting anything. It was truly a pleasure to work together ! :)

Technically, a lot of work was required to display allergens , their unique appearance, and their use as a filter. Also, each subpage received a unique main image and appearance, and a unique gallery view was developed. The webshop is multilingual , available in English and German, and prices can be viewed in different currencies, as they are present at international fairs as well as at domestic events, most recently serving the international audience at Formula 1.
